MEET NUTRILAB

Curiosity is
a good place to start.

We’re a student-led initiative exploring nutrition through education, hands-on experiments, and community action.

WHO WE ARE

Students teaching,
learning, and doing.

NutriLab brings young people together around a simple idea: understanding food can begin with a question you want to test.

We create approachable nutrition lessons and hands-on workshops, especially for students in Grades 4–8. Our wider events connect nutrition with health, identity, and the world around us.

OUR MISSION

Educate.
Experiment.
Fundraise.

Our mission is to make nutrition education accessible and engaging, encourage healthier everyday choices, and support access to nourishing food.

We achieve this through education that invites questions, hands-on workshops that turn ideas into experiments, and fundraising that supports community food access.

FOOD ACCESS & COMMUNITY

Learning extends
beyond the workshop.

Learning about nutrition also means asking who can access nourishing food. Our fundraising activities support community work addressing food insecurity, including the DTES Neighbourhood House.
